1. It’s your body. Since if anything negative is to be experienced from vaccinating – you’re the one who’s going to be experiencing it (or your children…) – don’t you think you should inform yourself of possible negative consequences? Open the search engine of your choice, enter “flu vaccine adverse reactions”, and start doing the research. Be informed.
2. Use your common sense! Don’t vaccinate when you’re sick – even if it’s something mild. Your immune system is already busy with what you’ve got, now is not the time to add to the load. Vaccination timetables have less to do with the vaccines and more to do with administrative issues involved in vaccinating a population. If you or your children have so much as sniffle or a slight stomach upset and you’re determined to vaccinate – wait until the existing problems are completely resolved.
There is so much more to be said about vaccines, but this seems to be the best place to start. If you want to go a little further, look up “vaccine court”, and learn why it’s virtually impossible to sue vaccine manufacturers for adverse reactions. And if you’re feeling particularly brave, try “vaccine court flu vaccine awards”.
